All walks start at the East entrance to the wood, on Creighton Avenue, opposite Fortismere School (N10 1NT). Most last up to 2 hours. 

Walks are free, though a donation of £3 per person is appreciated. It helps to book in advance as this allows us gauge numbers and to contact you if there are any changes to the programme.

Family bat walk

Saturday 22 September, 7pm

Bats are best observed at dusk, Cindy Blaney, local bat ecologist, returns to Coldfall Wood another walk when the days are shorter. Especially suited for those with earlier bed times.

Donation of £3 per person appreciated.

Fungi walk

Saturday 29 September, 2:30pm

Explore the wood and see what fungi we can find; there is often something unusual to spot. Led by Andy Overall, local field mycologist.
