All walks start at the East entrance to the wood, on Creighton Avenue, opposite Fortismere School (N10 1NT). Most last about 2 hours. 

Walks are free, though a donation of £3 per person is appreciated. It helps to book in advance as this allows us gauge numbers and to contact you if there are any changes to the programme.


Dawn chorus bird walk

Sunday 23 April 2017, 5am

Identify birds from their song. Led by David Darrell-Lambert, expert birder and Director of Bird Brain UK.

Play day

Sunday 30 April 2017, 2 to 4pm

Family play in Coldfall Wood. Make a hobby horse, then race on the field. Led by Ivana Grant (Fun in the Forest)

Wild flower walk

Sunday 14th May 2017, 2:30pm

Coppicing has opened new opportunities for plants to flourish. What will we find this time? Led by David Bevan, local botanist and conservationist.
